The busbar connection is a critical component in electrical substations and power distribution systems, serving as a central node for interfacing transformers with other equipment. Its primary function is to provide a low-impedance, high-conductivity path for the efficient collection and distribution of large electrical currents from the transformer's terminals to multiple outgoing circuits, such as feeders, switchgear, or other transformers.

The operating principle is based on achieving maximum electrical and mechanical integrity. Typically made from high-conductivity materials like copper or aluminum, busbars are designed with a substantial cross-sectional area to minimize resistive losses (I²R losses) and thermal heating under heavy load. The connection to the transformer is made via robust clamps or bolted joints, ensuring a secure and stable interface. This design minimizes voltage drop and maintains system stability. Furthermore, the rigid structure of busbars provides excellent mechanical strength to withstand high electromagnetic forces generated during short-circuit events, ensuring operational safety and reliability. In essence, busbars are the indispensable backbone that enables the safe and efficient transfer of power from the transformer to the grid.

Busbar processing for transformers involves shaping and preparing copper or aluminum busbars, which are crucial for connecting components and distributing electrical power within the transformer. This process includes cutting, bending, and punching busbars to precise dimensions, ensuring secure and efficient electrical connections. CNC busbar processing machines are commonly used due to their precision and ability to handle various busbar and busrod sizes and shapes.

Our Multi-functional Busbar Process equipment has three units:Punching ,shearing and bending . The punching unit has turret tooling library, it maximally can hold 8 (punch and embossing) dies or 7 punch dies and 1emossing die;

The Bend Unit adopts overall structure ,angular CNC method, operation is simple and high accuracy;

The Shear Unit adopts circular overall structure, its design is new and unique ,proper stress ,which can guarantee long time usage without deformation;
